ARGHH 9.41pm already, then comes Monday. Monday?! NO! NOO!! NOOO!!! How could it be so fast since I still need more sleep?! *sob sob*

My two days gone to shopping the wardrobe and re-decorating my room. New-Theme-Room!? YAY! Thus, no matter how tired I am, I will blog this out first before going to bed. I just can't wait to share it with you guys.

FINALLY, I bought the wardrobe I had spotted months ago but spent months hesitating to get or not to get (money constraint la). I wondered did I share the floor drawing of my new-theme-room earlier??! I make it out, hoho! Can you imagine how happy I am? (Special thanks to Ivan - as my driver and Chloe - my carpenter *huggies*)

Shopping is always fun but till the end of day, you will be crying .. YAY! I'm talking about my own self, ME, getting poorer and poorer already *cry cyr*. I have decided: NO nice & fancy meals during weekdays and weekends for NOVEMBER! Need to save $, lotsa $$$ to go for orthodontics & pay my car deposit.

Sinful Indulgence

FINALLY!

Caroline stepped out from her doorstep at this beautiful-but-planned-sleep-through-it Saturday to get a new pair of goggle. Ehmm... there's no more excuse to my swimming routine.

I went to KLCC to get my new goggle, where I can pay off my bill, have my own sweet time at Kino and catch up a dinner with friends at the same time. Haha =D Life's always full with uncertainties. As planned, I'm just getting a new pair of GOGGLE, who knows, ended up --->




buying myself another new cap :)

At 1st I thought of getting another nike cap (Yay, I'm a NIKE fan) but this design quite nice so... itu macam I brought it back home lo.

After finish shopped for my goggle, as usual, KINO here I go. My friends always tease me, if can't find me, go Kino, you might get me there. It was a long time ago. How I wish I have more time to chill out there but I'm just too lay-z to go out during weekends. And I'm always ended up sleeping at home, another sleep-through-it weekend, I name it.

If you close to me, you should know that I have read-before-sleep habit. I'm running out of BOOKS. I can't stand of this kind of nights without books anymore... SO, I get myself 4!!!! Haha! My mom is like... hey, please la, why buy so many books, you are like going to finish it in few days time bla bla bla bla... [I use to spend my whole night reading the novel, even I was taking bus, in the class... during my uni time]

I will control myself not to finish so fast, mum *no worries*

That's one of the reason I name this post: "Sinful Indulgence" cause I get myself 2nd box from mini-mart this morning. To confess, I finished like half of it already =P (no worries, is just a small box). I just don't know why I love to eat ice-cream so much during raining season.

Caroline's Ice-Cream Recipe:
1. 2-3 scops of ice-cream
2. Cornflakes
3. Cashew nuts
4. Banana
5. Chocolate Chips

HOW?!
Get a nice cup/small bowl, pour in the cornflakes as the base. Put 2-3 scops of ice-cream (as per you preferences). Pour some cornflakes, cashew nuts, banana slice and chocolate chips on top as topping. DONE!!!

I'm now have more reason to swim (not only because of goggle). Caroline is going for suntanning at this stupid idiot raining season!!! Hahaha! Sure you guys wondering is it I'm having mental problem le. I always suddenly feel like doing this and that. Nevermind, I will be using my own sweet time (couple of month) to do some research on how to have a better result of suntanning.

I love shoesssss.

When went out shopping with friends, once I bought the 1st pair of the day, I will continue to buy 2nd pair, 3rd pair... ... I been trying hard to stop myself but I
couldn't, I just can't resist to not buying the beautiful pair of shoes back home.
Always have the feel that I need more shoes to match my clothes.

I threw away quite a few pairs of shoes when just came, some are still in JB so tell you already la, I don't have enough shoes to wear le. Can you imagine & understand how suffering I am *sob sob*.

BUT...

The funny part is I love wearing the same pair of shoe to work & hang out till it is "old" (you sure will ask me, why then I want to buy so many pairs, haha =D I also don't know le). I will keep complaining to my mom I don't have enough shoes to wear, she'll then ask me to buy more, then I wouldn't feel bad for letting myself to buy more. HAHAHA =D (P/S: my mom also a shoe-lover).

Yesterday was hanging out with friends, I thought I wouldn't be buying anything cause just for lunch & window shopping, who know?!

Back to two days before, Tuesday. Our Agency is off half day, who knows ... as usual la, I'm staying till 8pm+ He's like waiting for me for hours... till slept, woke up & slept again. Poor thing *huggies for him* hehehe

I should learn to trust him more. Although I know is hard for me but I'm learning bit by bit.

Saja post up this cause I really feel touched & sweet of what he had done, although is just some small little things. I felt bad too at the same time for throwing him tantrum.

Four Months Old

I start working as Brand Executive in Dutch Lady Team, Leo Burnett on May 26, 2008. Till now, it's more than four months already without realizing the time past. Another 2 months to go to finish my probation.

Although is kind of hectic working life I'm having now BUT seem like I keep telling everyone I LOVE MY JOB! This job is tiring, have to stay up late almost every single day, a lot of killing deadlines to meet, have to meet those "snoopy" requirements from sarcastic clients... OVERALL, I love it, haha :D I will complain at times, for sure, but this job is really challenging. I would just say I'm a lucky girl to get what I love. God loves me a lot :)

I never think of I'll be in this industry till now, I also can't believe I'm here. Sound silly?! Yea, it is. This is my first job, I'm a fresh graduate and I'm in LB. Surprisingly, LB rarely hire new blood, I mean fresh graduate. Thanks to my director for giving me this chance. Why I'm saying so?! Actually the interview I been called for is for P&G Team, she shared about Dutch Lady Team too. How I wish I'm part of Dutch Lady Team rather than P&G - this is what running in my mind during the conversation with her. The headcount she had for DL Team is Brand Manager but she is more than willing to give me a chance instead. She try her best to switch the manager headcount she had to executive. Actually they would prefer someone having experience so that they can on hand once on the job.

I'm a lucky girl *sweet smile* to have the opportunity to start my 1st job in this well known international advertising agency and the great part is, working with Leo Burnetters here is GREAT!

My life in LB is great! "GREAT" is one word I can describe about LB. I learned a lot a lot... more than you can imagine, is not just all about work but the surviving skills in this rat race. Haha! not that "rat race" comparing corporate, this is the great part bout LB. People here are great & niceeeeee.

The baby project I'm handling now is fabulous! Happy to work with the team. Again, they are great! Can't wait for the day, "the day of birth of my baby" - new launch of product. The upcoming project is great too. It is a regional job. I know my life will be more busier & hectic than now BUT I really can't wait for it too. Thanks God for giving me the opportunity to work on this regional job. Great challenges are ahead. A lot more for me to learn.

Yea, everything is kind of on track now. I will work hard for what I want!

Sick ...

LOST?! Nope, I went back to Alor Star. Wasn't feeling well, took 2 days MC so my parents asked me to go back, at least they can take care of me.

Last Thursday morning, when I woke up, found my eye become worse, the swollen part become bigger, whole body no strength, very weak and feeling sick ... But I still went back to office, settled my works then only went and see doctor.

It is stye. My body is too heaty, that's why, fever, sore throat, coughing ... one shot come :( *poor thing*

Tell you guys a joke. Both my dad and mom can't find me at night when they came over my room to check whether I feeling better or not. I was covered with blanket but they thought I was the bolster. OMG! Until my dad saw my hair, and my mom opened up the blanket and checked. Next day, I been scolded, even my grandpa also asking is it I didn't eat, why lost so much weight and become so skinny. BUT I feel like I am gaining weight wor, I ate a lot actually.

Rest = sleep + eat

Hehehe! I really ate a lot and slept a lot too. And days past and I am now back to KL. Start my new week soon, Monday blueeeeee ... Very cham ar me here, my eye better a bit, who know period pain pulak :( Start missing my mom although I'm just got back from home.

And start to miss darling too. Haha! Very bad lar me, only will miss him when I was alone, else I really forgotten bout him. Think of him making me angry only, whatever la, always busy busy until there s no time for me. Whatever, don't wanna bother bout you, bluekkkkkk!

Moody day. Very extreme mood swing.

Mood swing?! = PMS?!

Make me thinking of "couple", one will always been influenced by another one, the change of mood is extreme. He/She can be very happy and sweet in this second, and turn into monster in the next second. Shall I say it is a process any couple will go through, just like normal life's up and down.

For me, I don't know why, I hardly trust my another part. I can throw tantrum on him because he is saying out something that I'm not happy with it. This time I choose to unblock him, hahaha, he suddenly felt my lost and gave me few calls. He is always like that, keep taking the same old way to make situation seem okay but actually the problem is still there. And I believe it will still be there forever and ever.

What I want actually? I don't know. No idea at all. The fact is I don't even have time to really think through it :( I thought my swollen eye is okay already today, who know "come back" again NOW! Haiz .. better drink more herbs tea to keep myself from sick cause I really hate medicine. Bad mood.

Argg, sleepy Caroline typing this so-called "Random" post, no objective for this blog, just to shout out what's inside my mind, keep it clear so that I can have a very very very soundly sleep.

I need some shoppings!!!! But no money, how?! Perhaps I can go and get Ivan's manager that from Germany to become my bf, since he is just broke up with his gf. Get him to buy me a Chevrolet Aveo, PSP, Wii Fit, shopping, lotsa shoppings and lotsa lotsa shoppingssss ... *joking joking* I'm not that bad and materialistic le.

Darling will be away from tomorrow till next Monday :( Miss him already although he is still in town *so po* Really miss those days. Since I start working, everything change, no longer that flexible to do whatever I want to do, go wherever I want to go .. poor things! Just as he always say, "normal la, what to do?!" I use to get angry with him because saying this, felt like he just muddle through to me BUT now I understand why he said it.

Monday Bluess?

UPDATE: My home wifi-router was finally been well-fixed last week! *happy happy*

Keke! Funny thing is my friends kept scolding me through msn, asked me to go back home NOW .. they thought I was still in the office. Yayaya, I know I know ... Life + Work balance. BUT I really love my job and willing to spend more time for it :) no worries, dude, will always be careful and take good care of myself.

During last Sunday, I am thinking, "hmm I can't wait for Monday to come, start my whole new week, can't wait for all the challenges ahead" ... who know I hardly get up this morning. Not because I am lazy, OKAY! I'm sick! Fever and my eyes like burning & my left eye is swollen. Wuwuwuwu~ san fu arr. And I'm very scare to eat medicine one.

Plan to take half-day leave cause got an important meeting in the morning, just simply go to any pharmacy or chinese medical hall to get some medicine or eye cream 1st. Wow, the chinese lady sin sei said I'm seriously hydrated, "Re Qi" gave me two days medicine which cost me RM 12 per day + eye cream + herb tea = RM 30

When I reached office almost 10am already. Heard Sarah said she is not feeling well and Bee Lin too, sick season wor ... Wuwu~ I have to drink more and more water, don't wanna get sick. End up I went to toilet every 10-15 minutes. Hahaha!

Luckily today wasn't very busy but not tomorrow. So better go back as earlier as I can. Rachel teased me, said to Patrick, my manager, "Caroline, work half day arr today" haha, yea, normally servicing people staying till very very late one [Hey friends, my case considered okay already le, those working on McDonald and Maxis always need to stay till 3/4 am and come back office again the next morning] Patrick replied to me, "Caroline, know already o, when can back early better rush back home as soon as you can, don't let the chance goes" haha!

Recently, seem like a lot of couples are broken up. Sad for them :( What to say? Cheers up, single is fun. Take your time to heal the wound, no worries, time will make the sadness faded ;) For me, yea I kept telling I'm not ready for any relationship, I'm still enjoying my single life ... when friends or whoever asking me about relationship-related questions.

I had a debate with a friend while I'm writing this post, haha! And finally, there's no conclusion and we chose to close topic. J, cheers up! Choose to believe will make you happier, although I know the reality is crucial but I still choose to have dream :)




Monday won't be blue unless you wanted it to be. Same story for love, or even life. It is all about what you choose. Life is always full of choices, one wrong decision is able to ruin your whole life. So, choose wisely, be it decision or your mood? *wink wink*

A Sunday

It's been two months plus I started my working life.

Is it fun?!

Hmmm .. I will leave it to you to think about. It's been busy busy all the times. A lot of due dates, a lot of tension when you can't get your jobs done in the expected timeline, a lot of pressure to deal with people internally (with internal creative team of agency) or externally (with client), will get scolded if you saying out one single word wrongly ... ... What's the ANSWER in your mind now?

Haha! Tell you guys honestly, I LOVE MY JOB!! Crazy?! Nope, I know I need to stay up late, even need to turn up myself during weekend, not enough of time to rest, been called "FFG Queen" ("Fong Fei Gei") by friends cause keep not turning up for the gathering or cancel it in the very last second ... BUT I love my job! It's not kidding! I find it challenging!

Actually it's all about how you see it. Always take it easy when people are shouting at you when they been tensed up (you know you will be like them when you are in the same situation as well), treat yourself good after a busy whole week like spending your whole day chilling at Starbucks sipping your favourite Mocha and updating the long-miss blog space, haha!



For me, I live my life this way. Tell you a secret! I will do house keeping when I been tensed up, funny?! Yea, it is just a way to get myself sweating and busy busy (just concentrate on doing it and no time for me to think about all those SHIT stuffs for an hour or more). If you know, I use to go for a jog when I'm tension during my university time, but due to the "lazi-ness" + "timing" concerns ... I ended up doing house keeping to make myself sweat, not bad what! Haha!

Thought of staying my whole beautiful Sunday at home today. Anyway, the plan failed. We are having a presentation to client on this coming Monday morning, who know the Creative Director can't open the power point (me too :( version problem) so I need to send him the JPEG for all the artwork the Art Director done. OMG! *tension tension* Luckily the Art Director and Copywriter settle for me. Feeling upset cause can't get the things solved myself *sob sob* [anyway, I learn to take it easy, try to get people to help you up if you can't do it] No worries, I just need some times to get it over :)

A New Chapter

It’s my 4th Monday with Leo Burnett.

Hoohoo, I am not lost. My “new-house” wifi-router not working plus busy getting use of my new life so don’t have time to update my blog. Getting complaints from buddies dy so I decided to make it this way: type it at home and post it when I am at office.

Time past so fast, without realizing, it’s my 4th week since I joined LB. How’s life? Cool~ I am enjoying ;) Working as Brand Executive now, is not as tough as you guys told me lo, and yet I am already on track on my 2nd Monday. [Special thanks to Patrick, he is a good manager, not to forget my director, Karen for giving me the chance to work with all great people here]

Frankly speaking, I was not in good condition when I was my 1st week here. I was home sick, miss my family so much. Feel like I am such a nerd cause kept doing mistakes [I know, I know, I am too perfect-minded and is not my fault cause I am new, anyway, thanks -> san san + JO + … k-papa] I felt like giving up, not sure whether am I doing the right choice. Some friends scolded me for rejected offers from IBM, DiGi and L’Oreal Singapore … Anyway, I am here to tell you guys, I am not!! I love my job! Can you imagine how happy I am when Patrick told me, “Caroline, you are good, no need my guide dy …” just the 2nd week, is one kind of achievement for me ;)

I love my job, I love my company! As mentioned earlier, our office’s design is great! Will upload the photos soon, was busy busy here, not yet got the time to take some nice shot. Breakfast is provided in the office every morning and the can soft drink is the cheapest in the town [make a guess! Will reveal the answer in my next blog] And so happy cause my company trip been postponed one week later so I can join du. Before that, the date is my convocation so can’t make it, my colleagues asking me to skip my convocation but is once in my lifetime so for sure I won’t lo.

Talk about my “new-house”. I took some picture and will upload it when I got time. And you guys don’t forget to give some comments ya. Both my housemates, Benson and Vincent are good and nice. I am enjoying staying with them ;) Like now, almost 3am already, why so late I am still not yet sleep?! Haha! I chat with Vincent in the living room till we forgot the time. Some more I took my nap this afternoon and had Nescafe with Meldi just now so ending up … sleepless night. [oh ya, Meldi is UTM PHD students, I know him during equestrian lesson. He has conference in KL and came over to have a drink with me] Me & Vincent chat from politic topic till travel. He studied in Melbourne last time and promised to bring me around when got chance. Yeahoo, not happy too fast babe, I need to save a lot of money!!! I need money, lots of money!! Haha! JO, you are right, I am going to work hard for my DREAMS.

So far, I fully spent my weekends. And I am broke too. Shopping for clothes for work [luckily Kai Siew help me to get some of my clothes back from JB to KL and I will get it this coming weekend, yess!! Else, me shortage of clothes to wear liao], few gathering with ex-colleagues and friends, movie dates, go cari maken … K-papa, let’s go TGIF again! Pei Min, thanks for recommending me the nice nice tempura!

Chiang chiang, I am now in KL. Going for my IBM's Apt Test tomorrow. Bought my bus ticket day before, forgotten Wesak Day got a lot of people coming back hometown, no choice, Konsortium's left. The girl asked me to come by 8.45am next morning to get the bus plat, who know, I been waiting alone till almost 10am. What the hell?!!

Rewind back .. I went to Taman Berjaya's popo place day before and uncle & aunty will fetch me to the bus station next morning. Hmm, popo's place no air-cond, GOSH, is damn hot!! I slept till my back so pain, moving from my bed to the floor, back to bed, to the floor again ... the whole night. Arghh! Uncle brought me to eat famous childhood "ah chie mee", popo don't want go ... we didn't see her (thought she going market) so we left 1st. Who know my mom called me when I am on the bus, popo went buy bread for me, she thought me + uncle + aunty scare scolded by her cause so rush still go eat "ah chie mee" so CABUT!! Aiyoyo, aunty bought the bread for me dy and we thought you going market ma. Cute le my popo?! Hehe, forgot to give her a kiss this morning >.<

Okay, come back to the stupid Konsortium bus. It is damn slow. Taking 8 hours to reach KL as it stoped at Sungai Petani, Taiping ... ... ZZZZZ ... Luckily I met Chai Ting, she is my secondary school's friend. We chat a lot during the trip and we two update each other about the recent-about of our still-keep-in-contact's friends. Hehe! She got an offer from IBM and she told me the pay is quite great! OMG!! How?! And I got a call from Michelle, GM in McCann, asking me for an interview for Brand Executive position on this Thursday. Hemrm, have to extend my stay here.

Finally, reached Kelana Jaya's station, waiting for U89 to Pei Pei's place. The first time, I wait till wanted to cry, no bus, hotty ... how I miss my room's air-cond and dad, my chauffeur. Back to home, talk to my uncle and my mom ... finish my test (IBM), go for the interview (McCann), get the offer letter (Leo Burnett) then only decide. Checked my mail ... OOO ... DiGi ... forget bout it, the office is located so far away, NO WAY!

Where been Carol gone??? Haha! Not in good mood lately plus been attacked by laziness-virus so long lost from here.

Hmm ... Leo Burnett arr, haiz, don't know how to say it, till now still dont know yet, got some management approval related stuffs internally, making me lost my "fire" already. And finally I had arranged my test with IBM on this coming Wednesday. Preety funny one, me and that guy keep changing for the date due to some "technical problem" (apalah, technical problem ... *weird*). Very stress here, still holiday-ing, haven't start my job hunting, stress stress ...

Kinda boring le holiday, nothing much can do beside eat, sleep, watching series ... I even read back my novels, playing my puzzle sets, gamehouse's games, sudoku ... you name it, see what else I still haven't do. I helped my aunty in her electrical shop and another teacher aunty doing story book review and doing revision with my cousins.

I have a great birthday celebration with my family conjunction Mother's Day celebration. Hehe! Thanks for the wishes. I got ang paw from my aunties, big treats in restaurants and cute presents from my cousins, kekeke! Too bad, my 1st younger brother is not here. Missing him so much [if I got money will definitely go Singapore find him, great sales is one from 23rd May on!!!]

Oh ya! I cut my hair already! My youngest brother complained, said I looked like idiot, iskkkk!!

OKOK! Back to the title of "YumYum Roaster Chicken".

I am now in my uncle's house, having a 3 days 2 nights holiday here. Staying here, for sure, will gain a lot of weight. Why? Both my uncle and aunty very good in cooking [Kong's family's talent] so we will have nice and delicious foods for every meal.

Really thank you so much to my uncle and aunty for these 3 days, me and Jason (my youngest brother) having lotsa fun here. Oh ya, not to forget, my aunty's pancake (for breakfast) and chicken soup are yummy yummy!! Special thanks to my beloved cousin sister, Stella Yi for helping me to upload these picture, will miss you a lot no matter where am I.

Going back home tomorrow. And Barbie Doll mommy is ready with my favourite dumplings and "cha ying yong" (cha ho fan). Yea, you are right, I am gaining weight *shy* No worries, will becareful of my food intake here, keke!
