Monday Bluess?

UPDATE: My home wifi-router was finally been well-fixed last week! *happy happy*

Keke! Funny thing is my friends kept scolding me through msn, asked me to go back home NOW .. they thought I was still in the office. Yayaya, I know I know ... Life + Work balance. BUT I really love my job and willing to spend more time for it :) no worries, dude, will always be careful and take good care of myself.

During last Sunday, I am thinking, "hmm I can't wait for Monday to come, start my whole new week, can't wait for all the challenges ahead" ... who know I hardly get up this morning. Not because I am lazy, OKAY! I'm sick! Fever and my eyes like burning & my left eye is swollen. Wuwuwuwu~ san fu arr. And I'm very scare to eat medicine one.

Plan to take half-day leave cause got an important meeting in the morning, just simply go to any pharmacy or chinese medical hall to get some medicine or eye cream 1st. Wow, the chinese lady sin sei said I'm seriously hydrated, "Re Qi" gave me two days medicine which cost me RM 12 per day + eye cream + herb tea = RM 30

When I reached office almost 10am already. Heard Sarah said she is not feeling well and Bee Lin too, sick season wor ... Wuwu~ I have to drink more and more water, don't wanna get sick. End up I went to toilet every 10-15 minutes. Hahaha!

Luckily today wasn't very busy but not tomorrow. So better go back as earlier as I can. Rachel teased me, said to Patrick, my manager, "Caroline, work half day arr today" haha, yea, normally servicing people staying till very very late one [Hey friends, my case considered okay already le, those working on McDonald and Maxis always need to stay till 3/4 am and come back office again the next morning] Patrick replied to me, "Caroline, know already o, when can back early better rush back home as soon as you can, don't let the chance goes" haha!

Recently, seem like a lot of couples are broken up. Sad for them :( What to say? Cheers up, single is fun. Take your time to heal the wound, no worries, time will make the sadness faded ;) For me, yea I kept telling I'm not ready for any relationship, I'm still enjoying my single life ... when friends or whoever asking me about relationship-related questions.

I had a debate with a friend while I'm writing this post, haha! And finally, there's no conclusion and we chose to close topic. J, cheers up! Choose to believe will make you happier, although I know the reality is crucial but I still choose to have dream :)




Monday won't be blue unless you wanted it to be. Same story for love, or even life. It is all about what you choose. Life is always full of choices, one wrong decision is able to ruin your whole life. So, choose wisely, be it decision or your mood? *wink wink*

P/S: my bro just called me, he is going to buy me PSP for my convocation's gift. hehe *so sweet* but im not sure wii or psp I should opt to (decision again, haha) Anyway, I believe it is going to end up this way: "Why you want to buy PSP??? Never think before you spend." -> MY MOM [HAHAHA!]

A Sunday

It's been two months plus I started my working life.

Is it fun?!

Hmmm .. I will leave it to you to think about. It's been busy busy all the times. A lot of due dates, a lot of tension when you can't get your jobs done in the expected timeline, a lot of pressure to deal with people internally (with internal creative team of agency) or externally (with client), will get scolded if you saying out one single word wrongly ... ... What's the ANSWER in your mind now?

Haha! Tell you guys honestly, I LOVE MY JOB!! Crazy?! Nope, I know I need to stay up late, even need to turn up myself during weekend, not enough of time to rest, been called "FFG Queen" ("Fong Fei Gei") by friends cause keep not turning up for the gathering or cancel it in the very last second ... BUT I love my job! It's not kidding! I find it challenging!

Actually it's all about how you see it. Always take it easy when people are shouting at you when they been tensed up (you know you will be like them when you are in the same situation as well), treat yourself good after a busy whole week like spending your whole day chilling at Starbucks sipping your favourite Mocha and updating the long-miss blog space, haha!



For me, I live my life this way. Tell you a secret! I will do house keeping when I been tensed up, funny?! Yea, it is just a way to get myself sweating and busy busy (just concentrate on doing it and no time for me to think about all those SHIT stuffs for an hour or more). If you know, I use to go for a jog when I'm tension during my university time, but due to the "lazi-ness" + "timing" concerns ... I ended up doing house keeping to make myself sweat, not bad what! Haha!

Thought of staying my whole beautiful Sunday at home today. Anyway, the plan failed. We are having a presentation to client on this coming Monday morning, who know the Creative Director can't open the power point (me too :( version problem) so I need to send him the JPEG for all the artwork the Art Director done. OMG! *tension tension* Luckily the Art Director and Copywriter settle for me. Feeling upset cause can't get the things solved myself *sob sob* [anyway, I learn to take it easy, try to get people to help you up if you can't do it] No worries, I just need some times to get it over :)

[Special thanks to the Art Director -> Seong (the main actor for "Sepet") and Paul, the Copywriter + not to forget, Ken (yea, as he said, he is the most handsome Ken in the office, haha)] - Really really thank you guys so much for spending the whole Friday night to get all the visuals done AND "sorry" to Seong for cancel his trip back Penang at the very last minute

Alright, is late, need to go check up body scrub at Body Shop, haha! Chao~ [Yea, God Bless, hopefully Victor is coming over to help me to fix my home wifi-router next week, then I can update my blog more often]

A New Chapter

It’s my 4th Monday with Leo Burnett.

Hoohoo, I am not lost. My “new-house” wifi-router not working plus busy getting use of my new life so don’t have time to update my blog. Getting complaints from buddies dy so I decided to make it this way: type it at home and post it when I am at office.

Time past so fast, without realizing, it’s my 4th week since I joined LB. How’s life? Cool~ I am enjoying ;) Working as Brand Executive now, is not as tough as you guys told me lo, and yet I am already on track on my 2nd Monday. [Special thanks to Patrick, he is a good manager, not to forget my director, Karen for giving me the chance to work with all great people here]

Frankly speaking, I was not in good condition when I was my 1st week here. I was home sick, miss my family so much. Feel like I am such a nerd cause kept doing mistakes [I know, I know, I am too perfect-minded and is not my fault cause I am new, anyway, thanks -> san san + JO + … k-papa] I felt like giving up, not sure whether am I doing the right choice. Some friends scolded me for rejected offers from IBM, DiGi and L’Oreal Singapore … Anyway, I am here to tell you guys, I am not!! I love my job! Can you imagine how happy I am when Patrick told me, “Caroline, you are good, no need my guide dy …” just the 2nd week, is one kind of achievement for me ;)

I love my job, I love my company! As mentioned earlier, our office’s design is great! Will upload the photos soon, was busy busy here, not yet got the time to take some nice shot. Breakfast is provided in the office every morning and the can soft drink is the cheapest in the town [make a guess! Will reveal the answer in my next blog] And so happy cause my company trip been postponed one week later so I can join du. Before that, the date is my convocation so can’t make it, my colleagues asking me to skip my convocation but is once in my lifetime so for sure I won’t lo.

Talk about my “new-house”. I took some picture and will upload it when I got time. And you guys don’t forget to give some comments ya. Both my housemates, Benson and Vincent are good and nice. I am enjoying staying with them ;) Like now, almost 3am already, why so late I am still not yet sleep?! Haha! I chat with Vincent in the living room till we forgot the time. Some more I took my nap this afternoon and had Nescafe with Meldi just now so ending up … sleepless night. [oh ya, Meldi is UTM PHD students, I know him during equestrian lesson. He has conference in KL and came over to have a drink with me] Me & Vincent chat from politic topic till travel. He studied in Melbourne last time and promised to bring me around when got chance. Yeahoo, not happy too fast babe, I need to save a lot of money!!! I need money, lots of money!! Haha! JO, you are right, I am going to work hard for my DREAMS.

So far, I fully spent my weekends. And I am broke too. Shopping for clothes for work [luckily Kai Siew help me to get some of my clothes back from JB to KL and I will get it this coming weekend, yess!! Else, me shortage of clothes to wear liao], few gathering with ex-colleagues and friends, movie dates, go cari maken … K-papa, let’s go TGIF again! Pei Min, thanks for recommending me the nice nice tempura!

To san san, I think I saw JY just now while looking for Meldi at the guardhouse. Honestly, I am not going to meet with him back, just no reason. Mic told me he feels like getting married next year, should catch up with him, super keh-poh why he suddenly have this thought, keke!

Alright, got to sleep Zzzzz … Again, my morning jog decision – shoot off! Oh ya, I am planning to buy HP 2133 mini note PC, let me know if whoever know bout it, arigatou~

Chiang chiang, I am now in KL. Going for my IBM's Apt Test tomorrow. Bought my bus ticket day before, forgotten Wesak Day got a lot of people coming back hometown, no choice, Konsortium's left. The girl asked me to come by 8.45am next morning to get the bus plat, who know, I been waiting alone till almost 10am. What the hell?!!

Rewind back .. I went to Taman Berjaya's popo place day before and uncle & aunty will fetch me to the bus station next morning. Hmm, popo's place no air-cond, GOSH, is damn hot!! I slept till my back so pain, moving from my bed to the floor, back to bed, to the floor again ... the whole night. Arghh! Uncle brought me to eat famous childhood "ah chie mee", popo don't want go ... we didn't see her (thought she going market) so we left 1st. Who know my mom called me when I am on the bus, popo went buy bread for me, she thought me + uncle + aunty scare scolded by her cause so rush still go eat "ah chie mee" so CABUT!! Aiyoyo, aunty bought the bread for me dy and we thought you going market ma. Cute le my popo?! Hehe, forgot to give her a kiss this morning >.<

Okay, come back to the stupid Konsortium bus. It is damn slow. Taking 8 hours to reach KL as it stoped at Sungai Petani, Taiping ... ... ZZZZZ ... Luckily I met Chai Ting, she is my secondary school's friend. We chat a lot during the trip and we two update each other about the recent-about of our still-keep-in-contact's friends. Hehe! She got an offer from IBM and she told me the pay is quite great! OMG!! How?! And I got a call from Michelle, GM in McCann, asking me for an interview for Brand Executive position on this Thursday. Hemrm, have to extend my stay here.

Finally, reached Kelana Jaya's station, waiting for U89 to Pei Pei's place. The first time, I wait till wanted to cry, no bus, hotty ... how I miss my room's air-cond and dad, my chauffeur. Yea, get her place dy. We had our dinner at Taman Merga (not sure I spelled it correct or not) ... eat eat eat ... receive a call from Leo Burnett's Karen. She asked me to start work on next Monday! Arghhhh ... how? how? how? *struggling*

Back to home, talk to my uncle and my mom ... finish my test (IBM), go for the interview (McCann), get the offer letter (Leo Burnett) then only decide. Checked my mail ... OOO ... DiGi ... forget bout it, the office is located so far away, NO WAY!

Think think think ... I think most probably I will be going Leo Burnett.

YumYum Roaster Chicken

Where been Carol gone??? Haha! Not in good mood lately plus been attacked by laziness-virus so long lost from here.

No worries, will one shot updating you guys my recent life *smile*

Hmm ... Leo Burnett arr, haiz, don't know how to say it, till now still dont know yet, got some management approval related stuffs internally, making me lost my "fire" already. And finally I had arranged my test with IBM on this coming Wednesday. Preety funny one, me and that guy keep changing for the date due to some "technical problem" (apalah, technical problem ... *weird*). Very stress here, still holiday-ing, haven't start my job hunting, stress stress ...

Kinda boring le holiday, nothing much can do beside eat, sleep, watching series ... I even read back my novels, playing my puzzle sets, gamehouse's games, sudoku ... you name it, see what else I still haven't do. I helped my aunty in her electrical shop and another teacher aunty doing story book review and doing revision with my cousins.

I have a great birthday celebration with my family conjunction Mother's Day celebration. Hehe! Thanks for the wishes. I got ang paw from my aunties, big treats in restaurants and cute presents from my cousins, kekeke! Too bad, my 1st younger brother is not here. Missing him so much [if I got money will definitely go Singapore find him, great sales is one from 23rd May on!!!]

Oh ya! I cut my hair already! My youngest brother complained, said I looked like idiot, iskkkk!!

OKOK! Back to the title of "YumYum Roaster Chicken".

I am now in my uncle's house, having a 3 days 2 nights holiday here. Staying here, for sure, will gain a lot of weight. Why? Both my uncle and aunty very good in cooking [Kong's family's talent] so we will have nice and delicious foods for every meal.

Special thanks to my beloved cousin sister, Stella Yi for helping me to upload these picture, will miss you a lot no matter where am I.

Going back home tomorrow. And Barbie Doll mommy is ready with my favourite dumplings and "cha ying yong" (cha ho fan). Yea, you are right, I am gaining weight *shy* No worries, will becareful of my food intake here, keke!
